SUBPAR was born out of my search to replicate a SUBPAR 69 -1 round of golf of golf I accomplished at the aged of 18, while playing off a handicap of 7 around my local course, Hainualt forest GC. At this time I was a working as a shop assistant (well, ball boy) at the Warren Park Driving Range, for previous PGA captain Alan Walker as shop. Whilst working here I was able to practice as much as possible, hitting some 400+ balls daily, while crafting my shot shaping ability. I was very fortunate during my time here to receiving coaching from PGA professionals, Richard Sorrell, Stuart Dowsett and Nick rose.

I dreamt of a future playing and teaching golf, but instead I leaned on my creative abilities and stepped into the world of marketing and advertising. Now some 32 years later, and on my 50th birthday I set myself the challenge to replicate the SUBPAR round from all those years ago, giving myself just 50 weeks at 50 to shot SUBPAR.

It was this day that SUBPARCLUB was born, a maverick brand that challenges the traditional golf we have seen for many decades, a brand that celebrates and welcomes all to share in the joy that golf brings.

SUBPAR celebrates the acheivements made by every golfer, its not just for the low handicappers posting sSUBPAR rounds, but for all those posting birdies, and net birdies.
